The street was relatively empty as the two of them walked. The sun beginning to set beyond the brick buildings of this city. It was warm still from the day, the air scented with the joy of spring and the flowers blooming in the trees that lined the street.
Donovan walked, moving quick and light along the cobble stones, trying to keep up with the man he walked beside. They were searching for this man's friend, the woman who had scared his best friend, Lilith in her brothers shop before.
"Do you have any idea why your friend is so startled?" he asked, crossing the street again to begin their search from the top.

He was constantly turning his head, looking down alleys and in shops for her, taking long strides. He did his best to hide the concern in his eyes, as they walked.
"She, she is new to this enviroment, things are very different where we come from," He followed Donovan across the street. He was amazed by this man, amazed by his willingness to help.

Donny nodded and paused at the first shop there and he put his hand up on the door, "I am sure we will find her and we will make sure she is alright." he stepped inside the small shop, exchanged a few words with the owner in Gaelic, thanked him and stepped back outside, "Mr. O'Leary say's he hasn't seen anyone out of the ordinary. Shall we continue?" he waves his hand down the street and continued.

He dug into his back pocket pulling out his wallet, digging through it to find a small worn picture that had been hiding deep for some time. The tall man began stopping people along the way, showing them the picture. He turned again to the other man, watching his body language, nodding,
"Let's," He moved on going into the next etablishment himself, showing the employees the photograph. He stepped back up, dissappointed and moving on to the next.

Donovan walked on beside the man, only pausing to ask about the woman they were looking for. No one could help them. He frowned, "We just need to take our time." he asked another man and paused, listening close. When the older man finished he nodded, "Thank you so much!" Donovan turned back with a smile, "He says he saw her at the coffee shop just up the road." he pivoted then and moved off in that direction.

He stopped with Donovan, watching him speak with an older gentleman, getting a moment to look him over, noticing his stature. There was something hiding underneath the modest build before him, something he felt deep in his bones. This man would be a formitable ally to him. He raised his eyes as the subject of his scrutiny turned to face him again, eyes bright with his smile.
"Thank god," his shoulders dropped with relief, following the younger man.
